Multi-site / Hybrid | Full-time | Permanent | Up to €40,000 (DOE)

How You’ll Make an Impact 

As a key member of our Quality, Compliance & Support team, you'll help ensure colleagues across Tigers receive high-quality onboarding, training, coaching, and practical support that enables them to deliver exceptional care and education every day.  

 

You will: 

  • Deliver engaging onboarding, induction, and operational training programmes across Tigers Childcare services. 
  • Support colleagues to develop confidence and competence in areas including safeguarding, health and safety, infection control, medication management, behaviour management, and childcare best practice. 
  • Observe practice, assess competencies, and provide practical coaching and feedback to support continuous improvement. 
  • Helpmaintainhigh standardsof safeguarding, compliance, quality, and operational consistency across all services. 
  • Collaborate with Centre Managers and operational teams to support colleague development and onboarding success. 
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of training programmes, learning resources, and onboarding materials. 
  • Support a culture of accountability, professionalism, learning, and excellence across the organisation.

 

 

What You’ll Need to Succeed 

 

Must-Haves 

  • Minimum QQI Level 5 qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education or equivalent recognised childcare qualification.
  • Minimum three years' practical experience within a childcare environment.
  • Strong understanding of childcare operations, safeguarding responsibilities, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, supporting, or training colleagues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong observational, assessment, and feedback skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships across multiple teams and services.
  • Full clean driving licence and willingness to travel nationally.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications.

 

Nice-to-Haves 

  • Train the Trainer qualification.
  • Higher-level qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education or a related discipline.
  • Experience delivering structured onboarding or induction programmes.
  • Experience supporting quality improvement initiatives.
  • Previousleadership, coaching, or mentoring experience within childcare services.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and training methodologies.
